Reduce Unwanted Fat with CoolSculpting

Reduce Unwanted Fat with CoolSculpting

We all find ourselves striving to eliminate unwanted fat.  They say you are your worst critic, which is why confidence is key.  There are many ranges of body types, and sometimes, fat doesn’t distribute itself in the places we hope it would.

Some of us have a fast metabolism, some have a slow metabolism, however, almost everybody is a candidate for the CoolSculpting treatment.  Whether you want to abolish stubborn fat, that doesn’t go away no matter how many hours you spend in the gym, or you want to skip the gym altogether, CoolSculpting is for you.

Using a technique called “cryolipolysis”, CoolSculpting works by bringing the temperature of fat cells down to an almost freezing point, destroying them, and causing our bodies to excrete them over the following 1-5 months.

Although most patients notice a significant decrease in inches around the treated area after just their first session, many require a minimum of 2 sessions per area for visible results.

Your CoolSculpting consultation process should proceed as follows:

Once you schedule your consultation, you would meet with your Medical Aesthetician.  During your consultation, the process of CoolSculpting is thoroughly explained, and a stubborn fat assessment is performed to confirm that you are the ideal candidate for the treatment.  Once that is complete, your Medical Aesthetician will go over realistic expectations with you, and discuss how many sessions they would recommend you treat per area.

During the CoolSculpting procedure, each treatment area takes 60minutes to treat.  Multiple areas are safe to treat in one day, and most patients do anywhere between 2-8 treatment areas per day, equalling a total session time of approximately 2-8 hours.  If you choose to split up your treatment, that is also an option, as many patients may not have time to do the full treatment at once.

The CoolSculpting procedure is incredibly comfortable. You may experience some discomfort during the beginning and end of each hour of treatment, which lasts for a maximum of 5 minutes.  Patients are free to go about their day following the procedure, as it requires no down time.

Side effects may include temporary swelling, bruising, and a “heavy feeling” in the treated area.  All side effects subside within a few days to a few weeks.

Although CoolSculpting is a procedure which doesn’t require patients to alter their life style or diets for positive results, it is a proven fact that the more water patients drink, and the healthier their diets are, the quicker and more effective their results tend to be.

Why a Natural Face Lift is your Best Anti-Aging Treatment

Best Anti-Aging Treatment

Creams and serums are great when it comes to preventing the signs of aging.  However, with so many of them out on the market, it can get confusing when trying to find what suits your skin type.  With different price ranges, and promises that come along from marketing geniuses behind these campaigns, the consumer never really knows what they’re applying to their skin, and what gets penetrated (if anything) into the pores.  To add salt to the wound, who knows how many chemicals are in this stuff?!

An innovative treatment consisted of Microcurrent and infra-red LED technology is here to change the way we think of beauty products in many ways.  For starters, visible results are seen after Natural Face Lift just one 15 minute session.

Sound too good to be true?  Keep reading to hear how this technological combination of treatments work:

  • Microcurrent: By sending microcurrent waves to the facial muscles, we are able to tighten and firm the skin from within. The treatment is consisted of a facial exercise that lifts the muscles and regenerates the volume we lost during the years.
  • Infra-red LED Technology: NASA tested and proven infra-red LED technology is specially designed to heat up water in the dermis, allowing collagen to regenerate and tighten, providing a beautiful lift

When both technologies are combined, a “super treatment” is the result.  Sagging jowls, fine lines, wrinkles, and even hyperpigmentation are a thing of the past.  Safe to use on all skin types, this treatment even helps prolong the results of Botox and Filler when used in combination.

Whether you prefer treating yourself at home, or coming into the clinic to have our Medical Aesthetic professionals treat you, 5 times a week, 5 minutes per area is all you need to notice impeccable results

Not only does the Microcurrent LED Radio Frequency 3D Facial boost and help maintain cosmetic injectable treatments, it may also be combined with professional laser technologies, such as skin tightening, photofacial, and redness reduction.  Your consultant will determine the best treatment combination for you.

It is important to remember that the more often you perform this treatment, the better your results will be.  There is no downtime, and any mild redness of the skin subsides within about 30 minutes post treatment completion.

Looking to impress your friends on a night out?  Do this treatment in the morning, the day of your event, and sit back while the compliments pour in.

The best part about this is that it can stay your little secret.  Nobody needs to know why suddenly you look 10 years younger because, once again, there is no downtime.

Microneedling vs. At Home Dermaroller

Microneedling vs. At Home Dermaroller

Facebook, Instagram, Twitter…  Social Media can be misleading, especially when they make you believe that you can be your own medical aesthetician without any repercussions.

We’ve all seen the clay masques that practically tear your skin off, the charcoal toothpaste that “magically” transforms your smile, and now, possibly the most misleading and dangerous ad out there, the Dermaroller.  Videos of people performing a Dermarolling treatment on themselves, without a hint of pinkness are fooling consumers into thinking they can have flawless, acne scar-free skin, just like the actors on the ads.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but sadly, this is false and at times may lead to irreversible damage to the skin. Microneedling is a professional version on the at home Dermaroller, and here is how they compare to one another:

  • Unlike microneedling, this at home treatment is sold to anybody who wants to purchase it online or in stores
  • In order to effectively reduce acne scars and wrinkles, the reality is that a strong treatment is required, and the dermaroller simply doesn’t cut it
  • Because most of us are untrained at medical aesthetics, we don’t really know how hard or soft to press the needles onto the skin. This can cause serious long term damage, such as scarring
  • Since no penetration of collagen is targeted during the dermaroller treatment, the only thing we are really doing is poking holes into the skin. This treatment is painful!  Yes, it’s more painful than microneedling.
  • The treatment is so mild, that to see any form of visible results, it must be done much more frequently than microneedling overdoing it increases the risk of scarring

  • This treatment takes place in a Skin Care Clinic, and may only be performed by licensed professionals
  • Risks are dramatically minimized when a treatment of this level is performed by a licensed Medical Aesthetician
  • With microneedling, a medical grade numbing agent is applied prior to the treatment The total treatment time is about an hour, and most of that time is spent on numbing the area
  • Using an automated needle device, a Medical Skin Care Therapists penetrates microscopic holes into the skin, causing collagen to rush to the surface of the epidermis for “repair”
  • The treatment automatically forces any acne scars or fine lines to plump, causing a smoother complexion after just the first session
  • Most patients require only 4 sessions, done once a month to notice a visible reduction of acne scars and fine lines
  • With the Micro needling, you can expect an 80%-95% reduction in scars and wrinkles
